Long-term Residential Treatment
Our services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We serve consumers in Intermediate Residential for up to one year and Dual Disorder Residential for up to six months. We accept Medicaid, Region funding, Probation funding and Self-pay.
Intermediate Residential (IR) Treatment:
We are located in Norfolk, NE. Intended for adults with a primary substance use disorder. This service is more supportive than therapeutic communities and relies less on peer dynamics in its treatment approach.
Dual Disorder Residential Treatment:
We are located in Norfolk, Nebraska. Intended for adults with a primary substance use disorder and a co-occurring severe and persistent mental illness. This service is highly structured and provides integrated treatment to stabilize symptoms and engage the individual in a program of maintenance, treatment, rehabilitation and recovery.
Halfway House:
We are located in Norfolk, NE. Transitional, 24-hour structured recovery facility intended for adults with a primary substance use disorder that have completed a residential treatment program successfully.
Services Provided for Intermediate Residential Treatment:
- 30 hours of programming per week.
- Licensed drug and alcohol counselors (PLADC/LADC) provide individual, family and group counseling services.
- Licensed Registered Nurse provides a health assessment within 24 hours of admission.
- Case Manager provides individual and group education services.
- Certified Peer Support Specialists offer individual and group recovery services.
- Residential Technicians provide individual and group services.
Length of stay is generally up to one year.
Services Provided for Dual Disorder Residential Treatment:
- 42 hours of programming per week.
- Dually licensed counselors provide individual, family and group counseling services.
- Medication Management Provider offers psychiatric services.
- Licensed Registered Nurse provides a health assessment within 24 hours of admission.
- Health and Wellness Coordinator provides individual and group education services.
- Case Manager provides individual and group education services.
- Certified Peer Support Specialists offer individual and group recovery services.
- Residential Technicians provide individual and group services.
Length of stay is generally up to six months.
Services Provided for Halfway House:
- 10 hours of programming per week.
- Licensed drug and alcohol counselors (PLADC/LADC) provide individual, family and group counseling services.
- Case Manager provides individual and group education services.
- Certified Peer Support Specialists offer individual and group recovery services.
- Residential technicians provide individual and group services.
- Length of stay is generally up to 12 weeks.

We serve adult women, ages 19 and older who meet the diagnostic criteria for a substance-related disorder. Priority is given to women with a history of IV drug use, current pregnancy and/or current dependent children. Consumers must be able to administer their own medication. Consumers are Nebraska residents, and the majority of those served are from the Region 4 service district, which includes 22 counties in the Northeast Nebraska area.
