Mental Health Respite Services
Mental Health Respite is designed to provide shelter and assistance to address immediate needs which may include cases management on a 24/7 basis to consumers experiencing a need for transition to another home or residential setting or a break from the current home or residential setting. Mental Health Respite provides a safe, protected, supervised residential environment on a short term basis. The intent of the service is to support a consumer through the transition or break, provide linkages to needed behavioral health services, and assist in transition back to the community.
Location and Service Details:
We are located at 910 W. Park Avenue in Norfolk, Nebraska. Our services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We serve consumers in Mental Health Respite for up to 14 days. We accept Medicaid, Region funding, Probation funding and Self-pay.
- Case Manager provides individual and group education services.
- Certified Peer Support Specialists offer individual and group recovery services.
- Residential Technicians provide individual and group services.
We serve adult women, ages 19 and older who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis. Consumers are Nebraska residents, and the majority of those served are from the Region 4 Services district, which includes 22 counties in the Northeast Nebraska area.
